Hi I’m Josty, founder of Building Science Cincy.

I started this company because I believe everyone deserves to live in a healthy and comfortable home. My goal is to be a resource for you in making the best decisions for your home and your family.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and have spent time on both the design and construction side throughout my career. I found my passion for building science over 7 years ago. Driven by personal interest, I have continued to deepen my knowledge over the years and implemented improvements in my own 115 year old house.

I have received the Building Science Principles Certificate of Knowledge from the Building Performance Institute and I am in the process of becoming a RESNET certified HERS rater.
